One article can become an X thread, a LinkedIn post, and a Reddit draft. Growthfy rewrites each piece for the platform. Publishing is not official social OAuth.
Why Platform-Native Rewriting Matters
Copy-pasting a blog post to Twitter doesn't work. The audience, format, and culture are completely different. Growthfy adapts every article to each platform's norms:
- X (Twitter) -- 3-5 tweet thread with a hook opener and CTA at the end. Conversational, punchy, under 280 chars per tweet.
- LinkedIn -- Professional opinion piece. Short paragraphs, data emphasis, industry insight. 300-800 words with 3-5 hashtags.
- Reddit -- All marketing language removed. Community-native value share. Suggests the most relevant subreddit.
How Publishing Works
Install the Chrome extension
X and LinkedIn post through the Growthfy Chrome extension, using your logged-in browser tab. There is no official X, LinkedIn, or Reddit OAuth.
Stay signed in on the platform
Open an X or LinkedIn compose tab in the same Chrome profile. The extension drives the compose UI. It does not call an official social API.
Queue from the desk
After Approve, channel drafts appear for X, LinkedIn, and Reddit. Queue X and LinkedIn for the Chrome extension now, or pick an optional datetime. You can also copy any channel draft, post it yourself, then Confirm posted with the live URL — required for tracking. Export the Markdown, publish it elsewhere, then paste the live URL back as `manual_blog` — required for tracking. WordPress is not live.
Publish Flow
Once an article is approved, platform-native rewrites are generated. Approve does not enqueue publish records. What happens next depends on the channel.
- Publish Now -- queues X or LinkedIn for the Chrome extension
- Optional schedule -- a datetime you pick. Not an engagement window. The extension still does the posting.
- After Approve -- channel drafts only. Approve does not enqueue X or LinkedIn.
- Confirm posted -- paste the live X, LinkedIn, or Reddit URL. Required for tracking. Does not use the Chrome extension.
- Reddit -- a draft you copy and post yourself, then Confirm posted with the live URL. Markdown export is live. WordPress is not live.
Publish Failures
If an extension publish fails, Growthfy retries automatically up to 3 times, then marks the record Failed. The desk shows an alert and Queue again. If the extension never picks a queued post up, the desk marks it stuck -- Queue again after you open the extension, plus a How publishing works link.
Tip
X, LinkedIn, and Reddit can all Confirm posted with a live URL after you post yourself. Queue still sends X and LinkedIn to the Chrome extension. Community moderators are sensitive to promotional content. Growthfy does not auto-post to Reddit.

Growth and Scale use the same live publish desk. Queue X and LinkedIn for the Chrome extension, or pick an optional datetime. Or copy the draft and Confirm posted with the live URL. Reddit is a draft you copy and post yourself, then Confirm posted. Markdown export is live. WordPress is not live. Neither plan auto-posts Reddit or uses official social OAuth.
